After realising what she had said the 44-year-old star added: "That's terrible!” "I'm just joking. Ben, Puffy, you know I love you. You know that. They know it. It was a good punch line ... That's terrible. This is the worst interview ever. You are crazy. You got me in trouble. "The brunette beauty dated rapper P.Diddy back in 1999 and later struck up a romance with 41-year-old actor Ben, whom she got engaged to in 2002.

Jennifer, who has six-year-old twins Emme and Max from a former marriage with Marc Anthony – is reportedly still in contact with Ben and it is said the pair of them “respect each other very much”. Ben is married to actress Jennifer GarnerThe actor has previously stated that “we don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, 'Oh, your movie looks great'."

Meanwhile, American rapper P. Diddy – whose real name is Sean Combs – has five children from different relationships and is now said to be engaged to his long-term girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

In a recent interview with InStyle Magazine, which is going to be published in the April issue, the beautiful Latina singer and actress said she is happier than ever, but also admitted that she is afraid of being alone.

"Look, I don’t love being alone. I don't," she told the publication. "I can’t beat myself up for that. What I have to do is figure out why I don’t like it. Why am I not okay being alone? And can I ever be okay facing that? In the past, love for me has always meant forever...but I don’t try to force it anymore.

"I hung on to my fairy-tale ideals for a long time. But where I am now, what I’ve been through, there are no rules. There are just lots of ways it can turn out instead of just one. There are so many different kinds of happiness, not just the one you learned about when you were five years old.

"She continued by saying that it was only a couple of years ago she truly started feeling good about herself. The turning point was when Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts and herself – all over 40 – became a popular choice for the covers of women’s magazines.

Jennifer recently released her first single from her unreleased eight studio album and the track is titled I Luh Ya PaPi.
