Bob Geldof's daughter's post-motem will be held on Wednesday, it has been confirmed by Kent County Council.

Tests will be carried outto establish what caused the tragic death of Peaches Geldof, after the mother-of-two was found dead at her home on Monday at the tender age of 25.

"A decision on whether there needs to be an inquest depends upon the final results of the post mortem," the council said in a statement, adding it "could take some weeks" for the final results to emerge.

Early reports have confirmed that police officers found "no evidence of hard drugs, no visible signs of injury and no suicide note" at the house she shared with husband Thomas Cohen and sons Astala and Phaedra.

It's thought the coroner is looking at the possibility that Peaches passed away from natural causes.

"The death is being treated as non-suspicious, but unexplained, sudden death," a Kent Police spokesperson said. "The local coroner has been informed and a post-mortem is expected to be carried out in the next few days."

"Peaches has died. We are beyond pain," he said. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and most bonkers of us all.

"Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?"We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is."

Her heartbroken husband Thomas said, "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons. I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever."
