Thomas Cohen plans to fulfil Peaches Geldof's vintage dream

06 MAY 2014 Peaches Geldof's husband Thomas Cohen plans to fulfil his and his late wife's dream by opening a vintage clothes shop in London.

The musician, who tragically lost his wife just a few weeks ago, intends to go ahead with their plan to open up a shop together, it has been reported.

A source close to the couple explained that they had been struggling financially in recent months, not helped by the breakup of Thomas' band S.C.U.M. in January 2013.

"Thomas was really determined because he knew financially things were a bit of a struggle at home and he wanted to show Peaches he could contribute to their family budget. Peaches really encouraged him and wanted to be part of the business," a source told the Daily Mail.

The source explained that it is even more important to Thomas, 23, to continue with the dream since the death of Peaches.

''Now that she's gone Thomas' family and friends have been encouraging him to keep the dream alive and continue going for it.

"Thomas' older sister Holly is involved with the plans and she and Thomas are looking at opening a shop in London. They still need to find the right location for it."

Peaches was found unconscious in the home she shared with Thomas and their two young boys Astala and Phaedra in Wrotham, Kent, on April 7.

It has since come to light that Peaches died from a heroin overdose, tragically echoing the death of her mother, Paula Yates.

Kent police have said that there is an "ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs" that played a part in the journalist and TV presenter's death, although they confirmed that "there have been no arrests at this stage."
