12 MAY 2014

Simon Cowell’s partner Lauren Silverman is being made to feel welcome during her stay in the UK by Cheryl Cole and Amanda Holden.

The New York socialite is in England while Simon works as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, a TV programme on which Amanda, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon are also panellists.

While he is busy in front of the camera and behind the scenes, Simon’s talent show colleagues are sharing tips to help her settle in.

"Cheryl and Amanda have been amazing. They have made me feel so welcome and given me loads of advice about where to go, where to eat and where to get my hair cut. They are like the Yellow Pages," she joked to The Sun on Sunday.

"I've met Cheryl many times. She is really cool and wants other women to do well."

Cheryl is preparing for her TV comeback, reprising her judging role in The X Factor –  which is due to air later this year after auditions get underway this spring.

She hasn’t been a judge since she left The X Factor USA in 2011, only filming a few episodes before it was decided former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger should replace her.

Lauren has become increasingly closer to members of Simon's inner circle since welcoming baby Eric, Simon's first son and her second.

When the pretty brunette discovered she was pregnant with Simon’s child in 2013, she was still married to Andrew Silverman. The millionaire property developer, who was a good friend of Simon, is father to her eight-year-old son Adam.

Proud new dad Simon shared photos of his son on Twitter recently, showing fans how rapidly he is growing. A few nights later the couple enjoyed a break from parenting duties as they attended the launch of a cabaret night in London.
