Peaches sadly passed away in April and Nick immediately cancelled plans to attend Coachella Music Festival to be home in London.

Both regulars on the club scene in London, Peaches and Nick were last seen together in February at the BRIT Awards. Nick was among the mourners at Peaches' funeral, and is close friends with her sister Pixie.

Nick became host of Radio's flagship breakfast show in 2012, and subsequently took a step back from partying.

"I have had a healthier lifestyle for quite a while now. I eat better food and drink less and I am trying to be fitter – and part of that is because I need to get up early and function", he said.

But speaking to Times 2 magazine, Nick revealed that he has to socialise in order to have something to talk about on-air, adding: "I’m on air for hours every morning – I have to have something to talk about, that’s why I go out."

"I can’t just go on about the colour of my socks or whatever. It’s my job to go to parties," he said.

He continued: "I work very hard. I go out and do things people want to do and then I talk about it. I am honest. I’m just me.

"Nick also discussed his reputation for hanging out with celebrity friends, including Harry Styles. He said: "I hate being photographed. I really do. It’s not my fault I know all these people – if you spend an hour interviewing someone on the radio then you get to know them and they become your friend."
