MTV star Ryan Knight dies aged 29

Ryan Knight, star of The Real World, has died at the age of 29. According to TMZ, Ryan was out partying with friends on Wednesday night and was found dead on Thursday morning. 

The cause of his death is not yet known.MTV - who aired The Real World New Orleans, starring Ryan, in 2010 - acknowledged his passing on Twitter.

"The Real World family has lost another member," read a message from the channel.

 "Our thoughts are with Ryan Knight's family and friends."

Tragically, Ryan's death comes just two weeks after MTV presenter Diem Brown, who also rode to fame on The Real World, lost her battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 32.

In the wake of Ryan's death, tributes have poured in from his friends and co-stars.

"Words will never be enough to justify the connection we shared and the pain I will forever feel. RIP," tweeted his on-off girlfriend Jemmye Carroll, alongside a photo montage of the pair.

"You lived your life in the fast lane, and your smile was contagious," tweeted former Real World star Zach Nichols. "My bunkmate, my buddy. Rest easy pal, I'll miss you."

Alongside an Instagram photo of the duo with friends, Zach added: "Controversial, outspoken, and hilarious. You lived your life with a reckless abandon, and everyone loved you for it. Anyone who knew you would say you were rough around the edges, but on the inside you truly cared about people and their happiness. 'A candle that burns twice and bright only burns half as long'."
