JB Gill celebrates turning 28

Share this:

Happy birthday, JB Gill! As the singer and farmer celebrates turning 28, HELLO! Online takes a look at what the stars have in store for JB, and you…This is what JB, who is a Sagittarius, can be expecting today…When people are reluctant to discuss 'an elephant in the room', we must wonder why. Might it simply be because if it were acknowledged, it would lead to questions like, how did that elephant get into the room in the first place? How did it pass through the door? And if it came in long ago, as a tiny baby elephant, and has been growing ever since, how can anyone ever hope to get it back out again? Or perhaps the room has a very large pair of French windows. The solution to a problem may not be as obtuse as you fear.

JB, who is best known as a member of former boy band JLS, was born in Croydon but spent five years of his life living in Antigua. The pop singer's musical talent was discovered at a young age, with JB beginning to make his own music at seven-years-old when he played the recorder, piano, flute and guitar. Growing up the songwriter was involved in his school choir but gave it up to concentrate on his rugby career. He played with the London Irish rugby club until he was 18. JB later went on to study at university in London, but dropped out to pursue a career in the music industry. He was approached by Oritse Williams to join a band, which later turned into the chart-topping JLS. Managed by Louis Walsh, JLS came second to Alexandra Burke on The X Factor in 2008, and after the show ended, the group signed with Epic Records. It was during that same year that JB met the love of his life, backing dancer Chloe Tangney. When JLS announced they would be splitting in 2013, JB had made plans to manage a working farm. The singer and Chloe, who married in May 2013 and welcomed their first baby boy Ace in September 2014, now live in Kent where JB manages his farm. "There's already so much I'm looking forward to doing with him, like taking him horse riding and out on the farm feeding the pigs," the star told HELLO! magazine of his newborn baby. "I want him to try gymnastics, running, rugby, football, skiing – all the things we've been fortunate to experience. There's so much out there to learn about and I can't wait to show him. "What I'm really excited about is when Ace is old enough to enjoy the farm, too. I can't wait to get him his first pair of wellies and get him mucking out the pigs with me. We'll send him down to pick fresh eggs for breakfast."
