Sam announced she has parted ways with Syco on Saturday

Mum-of-three Sam rose to fame in 2013 when she beat Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend to scoop the TV talent show's £1 million recording contract. Shortly after her triumphant win, Sam supported Beyoncé during her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on 24 February in Birmingham. A month after supporting Beyoncé, 37-year-old Sam, who was already mum to son Tommy and daughter Brooke, announced that she and her husband Craig Pearson were expecting a new addition to their family. In March 2014, while she was pregnant, Sam's first album The Power of Love was released and debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart. The record was later revealed to have been 2014's fastest-selling album.

Sam won X Factor in 2013

In September 2014 Sam introduced her baby girl Miley exclusively in HELLO! Magazine. "I always wanted three kids, but before The X Factor we couldn't afford it," she said in the interview. "So I was resigned to the fact I would just have the two. Then next thing you know I find out I'm pregnant and I was like, 'Yes. I'm finally going to get my wish.'" Sam also revealed that one of Miley's godparents was her X Factor mentor Sharon Osbourne. "Never in a million years did I imagine I'd be having a baby whose godmother is Sharon Osbourne," she said.
