Simon Cowell doesn't rule out another baby with Lauren Silverman

Simon Cowell previously joked to HELLO! that he's the number one eligible bachelor in the world following George Clooney's marriage. However, the truth is these days the music mogul is very much a family man with partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric. And now it seems he would like to give the little boy a brother or sister.

Asked if he and Lauren are planning another, the X Factor boss told the Daily Star: "I wouldn't rule out anything".

That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone as he is clearly smitten with one-year-old Eric, constantly posting pictures of the baby, who seems to be a bit of a mini-me.

Simon has said he doesn't change nappies but he is certainly very involved with the little one, helping with bath time and playing with him.

His American girlfriend has also had a positive effect on the 55-year-old. Until they got together in 2013, Simon would work into the early hours, every night, burning the candle at both ends as he ran his transatlantic entertainment empire.

Now, she insists they go out for meals together to switch off. She has encouraged him to lead a more balanced life and over Christmas during a month in Barbados they looked happier than ever. The duo were seen sharing a tender kiss with Eric between them as their dogs Squiddly and Diddly played about their feet.

In fact, he gave a little hint about the couple's baby plans when he talked about their dogs. Simon said: "Well, I got (my dogs) Squiddly and Diddly, and I couldn't imagine Squiddly or just Diddly," he explained. "I had a brother when I was younger, so I kind of think it's cool to have two or three ... two."

Their friends are thrilled at this turn of events. Amanda Holden recently told HELLO!: "He's met his match in Lauren, 100 per cent."

Meanwhile, Louis Walsh says "I never thought I'd say Simon's going to get married, but I think he's going to get married".
