Kris Jenner couldn't be prouder of Caitlyn Jenner's ESPYs appearance. Although the mother-of-six didn't attend the awards show in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Kris still tuned in to watch Caitlyn's accept the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

"I think it was amazing and very brave," Kris told Us Weekly on Thursday of Caitlyn's poignant speech, which brought the audience to their feet.

While Kris wasn't present at the sports awards on Wednesday, the rest of the family sat in the audience to show their support for Caitlyn during her big moment.

Proudly watching were Caitlyn's children Burt, Brandon, Brody, Kendall and Kylie, along with stepdaughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and mum Esther Jenner – Kris and her son Rob Kardashian were absent, as was Brandon's wife Leah, who is imminently expecting the couple's first baby.

"Here comes the tough part," Caitlyn said with tears in her eyes. "I'd like to thank my family. I never wanted to hurt anyone else, most of all my family and my kids. I always wanted my children to be so proud of their dad for what he was able to accomplish in his life.

"You guys have given me so much support. I am so grateful to have all of you in my life. Thank you."

Kris initially took a while to address her ex-husband's gender transition, but has since voiced her support to the former Olympian on a number of occasions saying that she was "really happy" that the news had been so well received.

Following the publication of Caitlyn's Vanity Fair magazine cover, Kris once again said she thought her ex looked "beautiful" telling Extra: "I think it's amazing. I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people… you have to do what makes you happy."
