David Beckham has been enjoying spending time with his family in Los Angeles over the last few weeks, but he cut a solo figure as he arrived at LAX airport on Wednesday. The retired England footballer was seen arriving for a flight back to London, where he is expected to be a guest at his friend Guy Ritchie's wedding to Jacqui Ainsley over the coming days.

The father-of-four looked stylish as ever in an all black ensemble, and showed off his new "Pretty Lady" neck tattoo which he got over the weekend to pay tribute to his daughter Harper.

There was no sign of David's children or wife Victoria Beckham, but they are also expected to join David at what looks set to be the celebrity nuptials of the summer. Guy and Jacqui are getting married before the end of the month, and have been teasing their preparations for their big day on social media with the hashtag #jaxguyjuly.

Reports suggest that the couple will say "I do" in their country retreat Ashcombe House in Wiltshire, and it appears Jacqui may well be enjoying some downtime there before their big day judging by the photo she shared on Instagram on Wednesday.

"Nothing quite like a morning lake swim to kick start the excitement #jaxguyjuly," she captioned a photo of herself taking a dip in a lake within a beautiful rural setting.

David and Victoria are not the only big names expected at the wedding. Other A-List invitees are said to include Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and George and Amal Clooney, who recently settled in the UK. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is said to be overseeing the menu, and will most likely attend with his wife Jools.

David has been close friends with Guy for many years, and is set to make a cameo in his upcoming film The Man From U.N.C.L.E, while his 16-year-old son Brooklyn has also spent time helping out on the set of another of Guy's films.

The pair stunned fans by scaling one of London's well-known landmarks, Wellington Arch, to pose for an incredible selfie with mutual friend Tom Cruise to celebrate the launch of David's whisky brand Haig Club in March.
