Jessica Simpson couldn't help but brag about her husband Eric Johnson as she took to Instagram to wish him a happy birthday this week. The singer posted a black and white snapshot of her other half, who celebrated his 36th birthday on 15 September, writing alongside: "My husband is hotter than yours! Happy birthday Eric Maxwell Johnson! You forever make me lust."Jessica and Eric, who are parents to Maxwell Drew, three, and two-year-old son Ace, started dating in May 2010 and announced their engagement in November of that same year. In July 2014, they tied the knot in front of family and friends at San Ysidro Ranch in California.

In September, 35-year-old Jessica spoke to Matt Lauer about her relationship with Eric. "I just think we're a little bit more addicted to each other," she said of married life. "I just think there is a level of love that has reached the highest of high. "The star, who was previously married to Nick Lachey from 2002 until 2005, added: "Eric and I have both been married before, so we took our time finding the right person. When we found each other, we knew it had to be forever. "Just last week, Jessica opened up about her first marriage, describing it as her "biggest money mistake". It has since been reported that she was referring to the fact she had to pay Nick $12million in their divorce, because she didn't sign a pre-nuptial agreement before their wedding.

"The real story is that Jessica paid Nick $12million in the divorce," a source told Radar Online. "That is what she meant when she said her first marriage was her biggest money mistake. "The reality is that her dad, Joe, refused to let Jess sign a pre-nup as Nick was worth more when they got married. Nick got more from her than he got from his entire music career. "Nick - who is now married to Vanessa Lachey, with who he has two children - is said to be unhappy with his ex for bringing the subject up.
