Mark Wright thanks Michelle Keegan for caring for him after foot op

Mark Wright has praised his beautiful other half for her support when he had a foot operation. The TV personality posted a collage of pictures taken during his time in hospital last month, showing wife Michelle Wright hugging him and climbing into bed to keep him while he watched watch TV.

He told followers that Michelle is "(my) rock, not just there for date nights, (but) there through thick and thin".

The 28-year-old Essex lad broke his foot in September and was wearing a brace for weeks before doctors told him that he would have to have surgery.

It's not known exactly how Mark got the injury but it may have been through playing football. As a junior he played for Arsenal, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur before finding fame on The Only Way is Essex.

He has been sharing his frustration about being off the pitch, telling fans: "Here we go....... Operation time !! Let's get this foot mended once and for all and back to playing soccer....... Wow I miss it."

Knowing her husband as well as she does, Michelle understands how annoyed he was feeling about being out of action. As he gets back to fitness, the couple are looking forward to spend their first Christmas as man and wife.

In the past two years the Wrights, who married in a beautiful ceremony in May, have been down south for the festivities. This year, they will travel to the brunette beauty's home city Manchester.

"We've had a great time (in Essex) but I think I'm going to really enjoy waking up in my mum's house again and opening presents at my dad's," she told HELLO! Online at the launch of her new Lipsy collection. "The basic things that you did when you were younger. I'm really happy."

The 28-year-old also dropped hints about what she would like to see under the Christmas tree. "I do like my pyjamas on Christmas Eve," said Michelle. "I want some really nice PJs that I can wear on Christmas Eve night. I'm also a fan of a onesie, but I like a two piece. They have to be cosy!"
