Are Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner getting back together?

Ben Affleck seems determined to keep his marriage to Jennifer Garner alive. The couple split in June 2015 just one day after their tenth wedding anniversary, and amid claims that Ben had been unfaithful to his wife.

Now it seems that the actor, 43, is hoping to patch things up with his estranged wife and mother of his three children.

A source close to Jennifer told People: "Ben wants Jen back. Ben wants to get back together. He wants her back."

However, the insider added that the friendly exes haven't rekindled their romance.

"Jen is not ready to take Ben back," said the source. "Ben has never been good alone and isn't now either. But he is constantly working on himself. He has made big changes."

As they expressed in their split announcement, Ben and Jennifer, 44, have been prioritising the happiness and wellbeing of their three children.

The family, who are currently based in London while Ben films Justice League, are regularly pictured together enjoying days out.

Last week they hopped across the Channel for a short break in Paris. The group were spotted eating ice-cream together in the City of Light, and on Friday Jennifer and her three children went sightseeing, without Ben.

The 13 Going on 30 star took her two daughters Violet and Seraphina and her son Samuel to the city's most famous attractions, including the Sacré-Cœur, the Place de L'Opéra and the Jardin du Luxembourg.

Ever since their split last year, Ben has been quick to praise his estranged wife.

"Jen is a superhero mum," he told E! News. "She is an amazing mother and I'm really lucky to have her as a partner to co-parent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that's what we do."
