It's been a difficult month for Brooklyn Beckham following the end of his romance with Chloe Moretz, but doting dad David Beckham is on hand to help lift his spirits. On Monday night, the 41-year-old decided to treat Brooklyn to a father-son night out at Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds gig at London's Brixton Academy.

The pair, both dressed in matching white t-shirts and hats, headed out to spend some quality time together at the concert, where they watched from a prime backstage position as former Oasis frontman Noel took to the stage.

David later shared a short clip from the gig on his Instagram page showing Noel performing with special guest Paul Weller, writing alongside: "Seriously ridiculous…"

The concert wasn’t the only treat in store for 17-year-old Brooklyn. Afterwards he and his dad attended an afterparty at Tramp nightclub, along with David's best friend Dave Gardner – fiancé of actress Liv Tyler.

The Beckhams only recently returned to the UK from LA where they spent the summer holidays. It was while they were still over in the States that Brooklyn and actress Chloe, 19, quietly decided to end their relationship, according to Page Six.

The news came as a big surprise to fans. The teen sweethearts had spent much of the summer together, looking very much in love as they attended premieres and other high-profile events. They also frequently showcased their romance on social media; one of Brooklyn's last snapshots of him and Chloe together shows him carrying the star in his arms, which he captioned: "Keeping her safe."

A short time before their split, Chloe spoke of her frustration as being mostly referred to as Brooklyn's girlfriend, despite her own acting achievements.

"Seriously, you don't know how often I'm just described as 'his girlfriend'. And you think, 'Well, I've also been acting for 13 years, but don't worry'," she told Glamour magazine.

Chloe also opened up about her relationship with the aspiring photographer, saying that they both understand each other and the publicity surrounding their romance. "One of the reasons why dating him is great is that we both get what it means to have our lives twisted and torn apart and faked," she said.
