Justin Theroux has shared the secret behind his successful marriage to Jennifer Aniston. "We appreciate each other's sense of humour, we respect each other and we get along," the 45-year-old Leftovers star told Entertainment Tonight. "I know it sounds simple, but it's true!"

Justin and Jennifer tied the knot in a top secret ceremony in August 2015 after four years of dating. The sweet couple met and fell in love on the set of the 2012 movie Wonderlust, and fans are keeping their fingers crossed that the pair will reunite on the big screen in the near future.

Justin Theroux has opened up about his happy marriage to Jennifer Aniston

"I mean, we would love to, of course. You know, it's that thing of I have been working for the last three years on the TV show (Leftovers) which has prevented me from working on anything else," Justin told E! News this week.

"And it has to be the right thing and something the both of us want to do, you know. We'll see."

The Girl on the Train actor also revealed which of his wife's movies is his favourite – and surprisingly Wonderlust wasn't his top choice.

"Oh god, what's my favourite Jen movie?... I think Cake," he revealed. "Not just because it was her most recent one. I love her in Good Girl, and her comedies are fabulous. Loved her in Wanderlust… she's always so present and good."

Justin's comments on Jennifer come just days after it was revealed that her ex Brad Pitt had split from his wife Angelina Jolie.

Angelina filed for divorce on 19 September, citing irreconcilable differences, and seeking primary custody of the couple's six children. Brad later issued a statement saying he was "very saddened" by the split, adding that "what matters most now is the well-being of our kids".
