Blake Lively attended her best friend's wedding on Sunday, just days after giving birth to her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds. The 29-year-old actress shared a sweet snapshot from the big day on Instagram, showing her kissing the bride on the cheek, writing alongside: "Most beautiful bride on the planet. And the best friend I could ask for. @jessicarose617 thank you for being EVERYTHING. I love you."

Blake and Ryan, 39, welcomed their newborn in New York City earlier in the week, although so far no details – including the baby's sex and name – have been announced. The baby joins big sister James, who was born in December 2014.

Both Blake and Ryan have made no secret of their desire to have a large family. During an appearance on the Today show in June, the actress joked: "I am one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we are officially breeders."

Similarly, Ryan told Details magazine earlier this year: "We'd love to have a big family. We both come from big families – my parents did four, Blake's did five." He added, "A lot of people say it's crazy, but we'll only know when we're there, you know?"

The Hollywood couple, who tied the knot in September 2012, have also spoken about their decision to raise their family away from the spotlight.

"My husband and I chose a profession and a side effect of that is your personal life is public," Blake previously explained to Marie Claire. "Our child hasn't had the opportunity to choose whether or not she wants her personal life to be public or not.

"So in order to give her as much normality as possible, we want her to have a childhood like we had. So we can't really throw her into the lion's den that is LA, not that we really want to."
