Holly and Phillip chatted to Wilnelia about her husband's health

"We've had so many wonderful letters and phone calls and good wishes for him and I do believe in all this energy and positive thinking… and he' doing really really well."

When the This Morning presenters asked her if the showbiz legend planned to return to the silver screen soon, she said: "Yes, let's hope so. You know, I don't expect him to go tap dancing… but he loves the show business and I'm sure with a little bit of luck, he should be back."

Bruce has struggled with health problems after suffering a nasty fall last year which was revealed to have been caused by two aneurysms, leading him to undergo surgery.

Lady Forsyth revealed she believes Bruce will return to show business

"It was very scary to see him [after the fall] because he was very bruised," she admitted.

"It was really really awful. But he managed to recuperate, and we wanted to know why he had that fall… the doctor decided to do a whole body scan, and that’s when they found the two aneurysms.

"Then [there] was a big question, do we go ahead and have the operation, and [doctors said] if you have internal bleeding it's very difficult to make it. So it was really a worry. But we decided to go ahead [with the operation]."
