Doting mum, Katie Holmes, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a sweet snapshot of her daughter Suri Cruise, 10, baking cupcakes with a friend.

Alongside the photo, proud Katie wrote: "Strong little girls that will become strong women. Let's keep fighting to make it a better world for our children".
Katie, 37, has a very close relationship with her only child, whose father is Tom Cruise. The former couple were married back in 2006, with Katie filing for divorce in June 2012.

Talking about motherhood to The Evening Standard, Katie said: "The number one thing is making sure my child feels loved. And good about herself. And that what she does and who she is, is special and important, and should be celebrated."
Suri also enjoys ballet
As well as baking, it seems that Suri also has a passion for dancing, with Katie recently posting a photo of her daughter at a ballet class. New experiences are important to Katie, and she is clearly keen to expose Suri to a variety of activities. "I support women and all experiences give you more insight into others, as well as yourself," she recently said.
