Justin Bieber has hit the headlines once again after a video emerged on Tuesday evening, which seems to show the pop star throw a punch at a fan's face, leaving the unsuspecting man with a bloodied lip. The footage appears to be taken in Barcelona, where the singer was reportedly being chauffeured to the city's Palau Sant Jordi for the latest stop on his Purpose tour.

In the video, the male fan can be seen reaching into the window of the musician's car. Justin, who was sat at the back of his vehicle with his window wound down, then appears to react by throwing a jab at the man's face. As the car dives away, the shocked fan touches his cut lip before turning towards the camera.

HELLO! Online has contacted a representative for the star to comment.

Justin Bieber has reportedly been involved in an altercation with male fan in Barcelona

This is not the first time Justin has been involved in a violent argument. The 22-year-old famously got into an altercation with British star Orlando Bloom in 2014. It was reportedly provoked after Justin told the Hollywood actor to "Say hi to Miranda for me!" – in reference to Orlando's ex-wife Miranda Kerr. At the time, it was also alleged that the actor briefly dated Justin's on/off girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Earlier this year, the Sorry hitmaker revealed he will no longer take pictures with fans, claiming that so many people now approach him for selfies when he is out that it makes him feel "like a zoo animal". Taking to Instagram to explain his decision, he wrote: "If you happen to see me out somewhere know that I'm not gonna take a picture I'm done taking pictures. It has gotten to the point that people won't even say hi to me or recognize me as a human, I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity."

"I realise people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture. And people who say 'but I bought ur album' know that you got my album and you got what you paid for AN ALBUM," he continued before adding: "It doesn't say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo."
