Michelle Keegan might be a hugely successful actress with a lifestyle we adore following on her HELLO! online blog - but even celebrities suffer problems when there’s a tube strike!

Michelle’s journey into central London for an early morning on-air performance on Good Morning Britains’ sofa didn’t go entirely as planned. And as she rushed into the studio to chat to Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan, she discovered there was no time for hair and makeup!

“I literally came in through the door two minutes ago,” the down-to-earth star admitted as she appeared on screen. “Without a scrap of makeup on. I had five people putting powder, bit of lippie on, so I’m alright now,” she laughed.

Of course, ever the professional, Michelle didn’t let her lack of prep time affect her mood. And as Piers quizzed her on whether she and husband Mark Wright would be planning kids any time soon, the Our Girl star was happy to speak candidly about the status of her broodiness!

“At the moment, I would say they are down,” she said, about her desires to have children. Not that she sees it seeing that way for long. “I don’t want babies just yet, but in the future,” she admitted.

Michelle Keegan got stuck in traffic due to the tube strike

After her hectic appearance on the show, Michelle took to Twitter to tell fans about her morning experiences. “Tube strikes got me like (despairing emoji)…traffic everywhere!!’ she wrote.

Getting back to work was bound to come with a bit of a bump for Michelle, who had an amazing family-filled festive season, which she wrote about in her latest blog

“On Christmas morning we both woke up pretty early and opened our presents and had a cheeky bucks fizz with our breakfast,” Michelle revealed last week, sharing some snaps of her happy time with HELLO!. “Mark and I then visited Mark’s family, and we all opened more gifts there. My mum and step dad were staying with us, so instead of cooking at mine, there were too many of us so we all went out and enjoyed dinner at a place in Essex.”
