David Beckham gets back to business on Arsenal turf

David Beckham has been spotted nursing his footballing talent at Arsenal FC's training ground. The former LA Galaxy star was spotted training with the Premiership squad in Hertfordshire on Tuesday, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has maintained that the 37-year-old has joined them purely for recreational purposes. "He called me," said the manager. "He has asked to come here and work on his fitness. He has not done anything for a long, long time. It's purely for fitness. There's no speculation or signing or anything."

The Frenchman said that he offered David access to the grounds to "help somebody", assuring the press that the move was of no benefit to Arsenal. "Nothing. To help somebody. We are open for people who behave well when they come here." 

Said to have received offers from twelve squads around the world, it seems that the star is finally ready to return to his home turf. It has been reported that David is juggling offers from Queens Park Rangers and West Ham, the sportsman said goodbye to his five-year-long American footballing stint in December. In the same month, the Beckham family relocated to London ensuring that Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Beckham experience the best of the British lifestyle. 

Off the pitch, the football star has been known for his fashion and beauty ventures, taking heed from his fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham. David has released an aftershave range as well as an exclusive underwear collection for Swedish fashion brand H&M. David joins the likes of Thierry Henry and Sol Campbell in making a return to a Premiership ground for informal training sessions, and was last spotted on the ground in late 2010. The A-lister has been awarded the England squad captaincy, an OBE and the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement award for his impressive sporting career.
