Keira Knightley's new husband, James Righton, has shared details from the couple's low-key wedding, saying their "beautiful" day was filled with love. The private pair tied the knot in the south of France on 4 May, and Klaxons keyboardist James has spoken to NME magazine about his "amazing" new wife — and why he doesn't think their marriage will affect people's perceptions of him, or his band.

"I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing," the musician, 29, said. "We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love. The music is the music. That thing is going to be there because of who she is, but I'd say we're a pretty established band.James' bandmate Jamie Reynolds described that the couple's nuptials in the town hall in Mazan — a small village in Provence — as "the greatest day ever"."It was fantastic. We're still high from it," he said. "It was about two weeks ago, it was a big party."Anna Karenina star Keira, 28, and James were married in front of just 11 guests before they were driven back to her parents' £3 million vineyard, about three miles outside the medieval town, in a silver Renault Clio for a 50-guest reception.The actress wore a beautiful Chanel couture pale grey tulle, bustier dress that came to the knee, accessorized with a white tweed jacket created especially by Karl Lagerfeld, pink and grey Chanel ballet pumps and a floral garland in her hair.

It bore a close resemblance to the Rodarte ballerina-style dress that Keira wore to a BAFTA party in 2008, leading many to speculate that she had chosen to recycle an outfit for her wedding, but those rumours were quickly clarified by Chanel.The thin gold wedding band that now adorns her finger is said to have belonged to James' grandmother. "The ring he gave her was a family heirloom," a source said. "He really did think it through. "It was an amazing wedding, the whole thing was really sweet and down to earth. "Husband and wife are now back in London after returning from their honeymoon in Corsica. During their stay on the picturesque French island, the new Mr and Mrs Righton chartered a yacht and spent a week cruising around the sun-kissed isle, wrapped up in each other's arms.The couple got engaged in May 2012, about a year after they were first publicly spotted together. They were reportedly first introduced by TV star, and fashion favourite, Alexa Chung.
