Tyrese (far right) says cast members including Vin Diesel will pray together before getting to work.

"God's grace is all we have," said the 35-year-old. "Before we start filming we are going to have a strong prayer. That will be the start, before we film anything. That's what is needed for us to do Fast & Furious 7.

"Tyrese told of the effect Paul's death had on the cast and crew of the action film. "This is the only movie I ever worked on where we are all real close even after the movie is over," he said. "It wasn't just losing a co-star, he was family for real. That's why it took so long to recover."

The Los Angeles-born star said that he wouldn't be returning to the set as the same person he was before the sad news broke that Paul had died in a car crash. "None" of the other actors would, he said.

Vin Diesel recently spoke about how he will get back to filming with a different state of mind. "The transition into that Dom state of mind has always been an interesting one," the actor wrote on his Facebook account about getting into character as Dominic Toretto. "Only this time there is added purpose, a collective goal to make this the best one in the series. "The seventh film in the Fast & Furious franchise was about half way through filming when Paul tragically died while taking part in a charity event. It is now believed that his character, Brian O'Conner, will be "retired" and not killed off.
