Peter Andre and his partner Emily MacDonagh enjoyed a date night on Wednesday for the first time since the birth of daughter Amelia. The Australian musician's other half spoke to HELLO! Online at the launch of his new album Big Night in London, and admitted she was nervous about leaving her little one at home for the first time.

When asked how the baby was doing, Emily told us: "She’s doing well. It’s the first time I’ve left her at home since she was born. My mum’s looking after her and I’ve called about five times to check up on her but she’s sleeping. "Admitting that she and Peter are homebodies, Emily explained how the couple prefer to have quiet evenings instead of attending showbiz events, now they are both parents. Peter has two children from his marriage to Katie Price, Junior and Princess.

And with Pete working on 60 Minute Makeover alongside pal Linda Barker, who watched him with his ten-piece band on the night, they find they have limited time to spend as a trio now so they make the most of it.

"We barely go out because he works from about 7am until 8pm," she revealed. Although Emily joked about how conscious she is of her height around the likes of stars including Amy Childs, Peter couldn’t stop telling us about how beautiful the mother of his child is too. "Isn't she beautiful?" he asked us after stepping off stage and greeting his friend Andrez from Damage. Andrez was a guest as well as 90s pop star Jimmy from 911. He told us that despite the band's rocky past – as seen on The Big Reunion – things are all good while preparing for the boyband tour. "We're all adults now," he reassured us.Peter Andre's fresh LP Big Night is out 26 May.
