Sheree Murphy has exclusively revealed to HELLO! magazine how she is making a return to acting after landing a role in Australian soap Neighbours. The former Emmerdale star and her footballer husband Harry Kewell posed for an exclusive photoshoot with HELLO! and discussed Sheree's excitement about her new job, as well as Harry's recent retirement from professional football. "It's just kicked in that it's actually happening. I'm going back to work. The kids don't remember me on Emmerdale, so they're excited about seeing Mummy on TV," the mum-of-four told the magazine.

"The last thing I did was Hollyoaks and I was really nervous. I feel a bit like that on Neighbours, not necessarily because they watch English soaps but more because it's, 'Oh, that's Harry Kewell's wife – what's she doing?'" And Harry – whose sporting fame in his native Australia is on a par with David Beckham's in the UK – says he has no regrets about leaving football. "Overall, I got the fairytale ending – I got to walk out with my kids and play against my home-town team," he said. "It's not down to me now – it's down to the next generation of Australian footballers to prove themselves."

In the interview, Sheree also shares how splitting time between the family's homes and commitments in Australia and the UK is hard – but they make it work together. "The rewards are great and I would never complain, but it's just missing your best mate," explained Sheree. "You have to work as a team. If you're both fighting for the spotlight or a big career, I can see that’s how relationships can break down. You have to have a bit of give and take. We always wanted one of us to be at home with the kids and said that once Harry retired I would go back to work. "Harry has almost been pushing me out the door encouraging me to do stuff. He's really supportive. It's all about juggling and making sure you make people happy – that’s the most important thing. You can't buy happiness."
