Born: March 26, 1962
Juilliard graduate Marcia made a name for herself in US prime time soaps Knots Landing, One Life To Live and Melrose Place, before taking a break to study for a masters degree in psychology in 1997. She returned to American TV screens in 2002 with the hit series Everwood, though it was her interpretation of coolly immaculate but neurotic Bree van De Kamp which made her a household name in the UK.
The actress, who married businessman Tom Mahoney in June 2006, received a Golden Globe nod in the same year for her Housewives portrayal.
