BOB GELDOF
Recently voted Britain's best celebrity father, the ex-Boomtown Rats vocalist turned anti-poverty campaigner takes parenting very seriously. Since their mum's tragic death, Sir Bob has striven to shield daughters Fifi Trixiebelle, 21, Peaches Honeyblossom, 17, Pixie, 15, and their nine-year-old adopted sister Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily from the media. "His protection of the four children is wonderful," says the charismatic Irishman's sister, Cleo. "They are the most important thing in his life. He just won't allow anything to harm them."

The 54-year-old might have his hands full bringing up four daughters, but he doesn't show it. "They are good girls, great fun... really a total pleasure," enthuses the former pop star. Supportive of their dreams, he committed his production company to backing Peaches' TV documentary Peaches Geldof: Inside The Mind Of A Teenager, telling the Telegraph, "I'm so proud of her".

He's also quick to defend the sociable teen's newfound fame, arguing that if his daughters "can do something in the media, and it doesn't impinge on the life they should be leading as a teenager getting their school results, why not let them try something they might be very good at?".
