ALEXANDRA AND JOACHIM OF DENMARK
The people of Denmark received some sad news in September 2004 when it was announced that Prince Joachim and his hugely popular Hong Kong-born wife, Alexandra, were to divorce. A sigh of relief was breathed, however, when the princess declared her intention to remain in her adopted homeland. Alexandra now lives in a villa in the Danish capital with the couple’s sons Nikolai and Felix, while her former husband resides at Schakenborg Manor in Jutland. |
