The Prince of Wales' wife was in the pink in June 2005, as she unveiled a rose bearing her name during a tour of the Gardeners' World Live show in Birmingham.
Accompanied by her husband, the newlywed looked thrilled to introduce the Duchess of Cornwall rose for the first time. The new variety, which is pink with a spicy fragrance, was a perfect match for the rosy-hued ensemble Camilla had selected for the day.
And the pretty blossom was created for a good cause – proceeds from the sale of the rose will go to the National Osteoporosis Society, of which the Duchess is president.
