One of India's best-known cinematic exports, Bride And Prejudice star Aishwarya Rai received her own floral tribute far from her native country.
The stunning star travelled all the way to Holland to meet the Aishwarya Rai tulip, a flower that might be symbolic of the northern European country but whose bright crimson, yellow, and orange hues definitely reflected colourful Eastern flair.
The gesture apparently made Aishwarya – who was on a visit to the International Indian Film Academy in Holland's second city – feel right at home. "Now, I truly am Amsterdam," she said as she took her first look at the emblematic bud.
