Model Jodie Kidd is never happier than when she's in the saddle competing |
Model Jodie, in particular, is an avid aficionado. In 2004 she helped found Pret-a-Polo, a venture to marry polo and partying with corporate entertainment. Her eyes glitter with enthusiasm as she tells the story of how she first came to pick up a mallet. "I went on a crash course to learn. And I played every day for 12 weeks before a big tournament," she recounts. "I played and I won, which made me completely addicted to polo. The next summer I went mad and bought 12 horses and a lorry." |
