At just 22 Serbian player Jelena Jankovic starts Wimbledon confident in the knowledge she's one of the world's top three players. Her potential recognised at age nine, by the time she was 15 she'd become the number one junior in the world after winning the Australian Open Juniors. Currently single, Florida-based Jelena is focusing all her energies on her sport. "I want to... be 100 per cent out there," she says.

The time for a private life will come after she tires of tennis. "As soon as I don't enjoy it, or it's tough on my body I'd do something else that makes me satisfied with life," she says. And that could mean making a play for the silver screen. "I've always loved acting and have imitated people since I was young," she says. "I was even offered a role in a movie in Serbia once."
