"She's my soul mate and we couldn’t love each other any more than we do already. We're like two peas in a pod," says Heath Ledger of fiancée Michelle Williams. The loved-up duo met while filming gay cowboy flick Brokeback Mountain where, appropriately enough, they were playing man and wife. "I remember being in rehearsal, and the two of them had googly eyes with each other," remembers their co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. "There were sparks immediately," adds Anne Hathaway who played Jake's wife in the acclaimed flick.
Michelle gave birth to the couple's daughter Matilda in October 2005 and the couple set up home in a townhouse they bought in the New York suburb of Brooklyn. Heath, whose previous flames have included Naomi Watts, is thrilled with family life. "I'm so proud. I just fall deeper and deeper in love with both my girls," he says. He and Michelle were spotted picking up a marriage licence last November, so it could mean wedding bells for the pair in 2007.
