Get creative in the kitchen with Alice Hart

02 JULY 2010

Alice’s Cookbook by Alice Hart - Waitrose Food Illustrated’s youngest food editor is a delicious, inspiring book - you’ll ear-mark enough recipes to keep you cooking for a good long while on a first flick through.

The book is broken down into chapters based around occasions: suppers and shared lunches, relaxed parties, camping (which Alice does with her beloved camper van), picnic food and breakfasts and brunches.

There are recipes inspired by her love of South East Asia - lemongrass pork bun bowls for example, right the way back to her British roots with recipes like toffee pears with flaked almonds.

This is a fantastic book both for the seasoned chef and the amateur home cook, packed full of great ideas to get your pots and pans clattering.

Alice’s Cookbook by Alice Hart published by Quadrille, RRP £14.99
