Indian cooking from the heart

a Enlarge

28 SEPTEMBER 2010

Anjum Anand, recently voted Personality of the Year at the British Curry Awards is back with a new cook book dedicated to a selection of her favourite curries – regional favourites, restaurant specials and some of her own invention.

In the style she has become famous for, Anjum adds a lighter touch to her curries, making them healthier but keeping them packed with flavour. They vary from mild and mellow to spicy and fiery but can all be adapted to suit personal taste.

The book is packed with everything from easy one pot wonders to slightly more complex restaurant dishes – but all are written with the home cook in mind. It’s an ideal tome for those with an interest in Indian food, be they expert or amateur.
