Immunity-boosting foods to beat winter chills

As the temperatures start to dip and the nights draw in, it's time to build up your body's defences against winter colds and flu's.

And you'll be pleased to know that it's not just oranges that have the power to do so. Fancier, finer foods such as oysters and dark chocolate are known for their cold-busting properties too.

Although you can catch a cold or flu any time of the year, during the winter we are much more likely to get an annoying case of the sniffles. Germs thrive in centrally-heated buildings and we tend to spend longer indoors.
