Healthy recipes from celebrity chefs Antony Worrall Thompson, Tom Aikens and Yotam Ottolenghi

03 APRIL 2013 Renowned British chef Antony Worrall Thompson has joined the likes of Michelin star winning Tom Aikens and Isreali-born chef and restaurant owner Yotam Ottolenghi in creating delicious and healthy spelt recipes.

The three celebrity chefs, food writers and restaurant owners have all created their own fantastically delicious – and fibre filled – recipes in a move to raise the nation's health awareness.

Our selection of recipes from some of the UK's top chefs are truly delicious, and show the various ways that you can incorporate fibre into your daily routine, leaving you feeling lighter and healthier.

High in fibre, containing complex carbs and easily digested, spelt is known for its high and slow release of energy content – exactly what we're after to stop those hunger cravings.

Spelt is a nutritious grain very similar to wheat, enjoying a wave of popularity as it tends to be tolerated by some of us who are wheat intolerant. The key difference is that it is easier for the body to break down and digest.
