Supermodel Kate Moss says she’s desperate to have a baby with her boyfriend of six months, journalist Jefferson Hack. Seeing close friends including actress Sadie Frost, aka Mrs Jude Law, with their babies has apparently awakened Kate’s maternal instincts.

“Kate has told her closest friends that she is longing to have a baby,” one insider said. “She and Jefferson have been trying for a while and she is now saying that if she does not become pregnant in the next six months, then she wants to start on a course of fertility therapy.”

Kate, who is worth a reported £15 million, is once again trying to stop smoking and has even met with health guru Dr Mosaref Ali to design a special diet. “She is so keen for this happen,” said another friend. “It’s all she talks about…She really wants a baby.”
