Spring trends: glamorous stars go nude

08 APRIL 2010 Last year, Tinseltown's most stylish embraced beige in a big way, and this year the trend has continued, just as some of the most influential designers predicted in their spring-summer 2010 runway shows.

Elegant gowns in cream colours have ruled recent red-carpet events such as the Golden Globes and Oscars. And stars including Kristen Stewart and Penelope Cruz have proved themselves sartorially savvy by donning the shades to perfection.

Though nude tones can sometimes make the wearer look very pale, these fashionable ladies know the best trick: simply combine them with bold lipstick or eye-popping liner for an impeccable look.
