New York Fashion Week closes in a sunshine state of mind

"Everything is natural, relaxed, sexy and easy," decreed Michael Kors at New York Fashion Week. "I am in a sunshine state of mind".

So in his 'back to nature' range, he highlighted vibrant fuchsia pinks and grass greens.

Newcomer Bill Blass went bold too - but focused on fire engine reds.

Meanwhile, Narcisco Rodriguez payed tribute to nineties minimalism with monochrome tones, moving seamlessly between formal trousersuits and more sensual evening gowns.
