“At this age, these kind of awards don’t come around very often, so I’m just pleased to get one!” quipped Elle Macpherson at the Rodial Beauty Awards. The blonde beauty, 47, looked more than worthy of her accolade for 'Classic Glamour' in a Ralph Lauren white flared suit that showed off her supermodel figure to perfection.

Her friend Yasmin Le Bon told the audience that she planned on keeping her Beautiful trophy in the toilet.“When I’m old and wrinkly I can remind myself someone once thought I was good-looking,” she joked modestly.

Yasmin, also 47, had gone for pared-back glamour in an embellished shift dress and flat pumps, her hair swept back into a low chignon. She also picked up a prize on behalf of her daughter Amber, who won Fresh Face.Presented by The Hills star Whitney Port, Yasmin grinned as she took to the stage, quipping: "I'd like to thank mum and dad...".

The US reality TV star told Hello! Online that her secret to her red carpet success is “no stress". "Just don’t stress and you will look great.” Yasmin and Elle chatted throughout the evening, at one point pretending to duel with their hook-shaped awards. They joined a host of other lovelies including Tamara Ecclestone, who looked pretty in a gold sparkly Pucci dress and sky-high Louboutins, Tess Daly and Sadie Frost.Formula 1 heiress Tamara was also debuting a clutch from her sister Petra's new bag range, entitled Stark. Talking to Hello! Online, the brunette spoke of how 'proud' she was of her sister. But, with Petra based in the US, she misses her greatly. "We have to schedule in phone calls because of the time difference," she said. If you want to check out Stark, visit www.gift-library.com.
