Behind the scenes of Burberry campaign with Romeo Beckham

British heritage brand Burberry has released behind-the-scenes images of its Spring/Summer 2013 campaign featuring Romeo Beckham. The snaps show the son of David and Victoria Beckham larking around on the set of his debut fashion campaign. He is spotted pulling faces, piling the brand's sunglasses on top of his head and playing around with the famous models on set that included Edie Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Charlie France and Charlotte Wiggins.

The 10-year-old was described by those who worked on the shoot as "amazing, incredibly and a little joy". The news that David and Victoria Beckham's son would be appearing in campaigns for top British luxury brand Burberry was announced in December. The brand's chief creative officer Christopher Bailey described working with the trendsetting youngster as a "joy", adding: ''We had such fun shooting the campaign and I think that comes through in the images, which really reflect the upbeat spirit of the collection."

Since starting the campaign, Romeo has captured the imagination of Burberry customers, with the fledgling fashionista even appearing in an ad for the label's sell-out £22,000 Peacock trench coat. It all amounts to a busy time for Romeo, who is working on his first modelling job as well as continuing with his schooling. The youngster and his two brothers Brooklyn and Cruz have recently changed schools following the family's move from Los Angeles to London, a relocation that allows dad David to play for French football team Paris Saint-Germain. The family seems to be enjoying life back in the UK, especially being close to David's parents Sandra and Ted, and Victoria's mum and dad Jackie and Tony. The move has also allowed them to spend time with their British friends, including Gordon and Tina Ramsay and their four children. The families were seen out in Mayfair on 3 March celebrating Brooklyn's 14th birthday.

The 16-strong group gathered at Michelin-starred Locanda Locatelli Italian restaurant, for what was Brooklyn's second birthday celebration in two weeks. It's been an especially busy time for working mum Victoria. As well as settling her family back into life in he UK, she's been flying between Europe and the US to present her latest VB collection at New York, London, Paris and Milan fashion weeks.
