Presumably busy defining their own wedding-day style are former model and land mines activist Heather Mills, who is due to tie the knot this summer with former Beatle fiancé Paul McCartney; Kid Rock’s fiancée Pamela Anderson; and Denise Richards, who recently accepted her Spin City co-star Charlie Sheen’s proposal. Heather is expected to opt for a gown by her fiancé’s daughter Stella McCartney, who also designed Madonna’s wedding dress. Meanwhile, archetypal California beach babe Pammie, who, like Cindy Crawford and Brooke Shields, chose a natural look for her first, shoreline wedding ceremony, may decide to repeat the venue with Kid Rock. However, with the recent example of several European royal brides – including Maxima Zorreguieta, who married into the Dutch royal family, and Norway’s Mette-Marit – the more classic princess look must also be a hot contender.
