Not content with wearing other people's swimsuits, some celebrities prefer to create their own. Model-turned-actress Liz Hurley made a splash with her seductive Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection, and when it comes to researching what women want, she's got help close at hand in the form of fiancé Arun Nayer. "I instinctively clock what every woman on the beach is wearing," she says, adding that she's trained her beau to do the same. "Arun thinks he's the luckiest boyfriend on Earth as I actively encourage him to stare at girls in bikinis!"
Another Tinseltown regular to venture into swimwear design is Kent-born Kelly Brook. Billy Zane's pretty fiancée has launched a retro-inspired swimwear range sold through high-street chain New Look. "It is very glamorous, sexy bikinis for real women with real bodies," says the curvaceous 26-year-old, who came up with the idea while recording Celebrity Love Island in Fiji. "I took inspiration from Fifties stars like Brigitte Bardot and Marilyn Monroe," she explains. "Bikinis are like shoes. You can't have enough of them. When I go on holiday I like to take one for every day."
