The photos speak for themselves. Relations between Tom and Pen remain hot, hot, hot – despite rumours to the contrary earlier in the year. Appearing together at this week’s Paris premiere of Tom’s latest cinematic vehicle, Steven Spielberg’s Minority Report, the pair let their intimate body language say it all.

The Mission Impossible actor draws his ladylove closer still, to gently whisper in her ear, while Penelope snuggles up comfortably into her man’s embrace. Later, as the sultry Spanish star concentrates on signing autographs, Tom – pen in hand – is distracted from his own fans as he leans in close to kiss her hair.

The couple met on the set of Vanilla Sky, in which they both starred, while Tom was still with his ex-wife, Australian actress Nicole Kidman. “Penelope is what you see. She’s lovely. She’s intelligent. She’s fun to be with,” the actor has said.

Whether that combination is enough to take the relationship onto another plane remains to be seen. But even while speaking in glowing terms about his girlfriend, Tom was unequivocal about the possibility of marriage between the two. “There are no wedding plans,” he declared on that occasion. Time will tell whether he’s changed his mind.
