Unfaithful star Diane Lane is set to wed Minnie Driver's one-time fiancé, actor Josh Brolin, a spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.

The Tinseltown pair began dating in early 2002, when Josh's stepmother, Barbra Streisand, reportedly introduced them to each other at a party. And on July 4, the US Independence Day holiday, the handsome actor decided to pop the question to his real-life leading lady.

News of pending nuptials comes nearly two years after 35-year-old Josh – whose father, Hollywood star James Brolin, is married to Barbra – broke off his engagement to British actress Minnie. The two had dated for three years before a "mutual and amicable" split in October 2001.

The marriage will be the second for both. Diane has a daughter with her former husband of six years, Highlander actor Christopher Lambert, while her future hubby has two children with his ex-wife, Deborah Adair.
