Charlie Sheen and his wife Denise Richards have welcomed the arrival of their first child together. The little girl, who weighed in at 7lb 3oz, made her debut on March 9 in Los Angeles.
The Tinseltown couple, who were married in 2002, have named their new joint production Sam. "They're thrilled," said Charlie's publicist. "Mother and daughter are doing great."
Denise is a first-time mum, though Charlie already has some parenting experience, because he has a 19-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
The pair first met while working on the film Good Advice together in 2000. The actor is best known for the comedy series Spin City and Two And A Half Men, however. Denise, meanwhile, has appeared in such movies as The World Is Not Enough and Love Actually.
