It's a familiar enough pose for the man who is the current embodiment of James Bond: sitting pretty between a couple of the world's most beautiful women.
Pierce Brosnan, Cindy Crawford and Anna Kournikova are three of the very attractive faces of Omega, and a new campaign by the watch company has just been launched in London, featuring behind-the-scenes peeks at the gorgeous trio on both sides of the camera while they worked with U.S. photographer Arthur Elgort.
But while fans will be thrilled to see Pierce in such dashing form for the watch campaign, there are rumours that his time as 007 might be running out.
Despite the facts that Pierce's four appearances as the British secret agent have grossed twice as much as Sean Connery's seven, and that his fans are clamouring for more, the handsome 50-year-old admits that there is an "impasse" with Eon Productions, who make the Bond films.
Although negotiations for a fifth film had begun, Eon have "kind of closed down now," says Pierce. "I'm not sure how to move forward."
Word is that the producers are thinking of creating a younger James Bond. Actors tipped for the job include Jude Law, Colin Farrell, Hugh Jackman and Orlando Bloom.
