Angelina Jolie found herself at something of a loose end while working on her new flick Mr And Mrs Smith. The Oscar-winner performed one of her own stunts, dangling from a wire 24 stories above the streets of Los Angeles.

But the 29-year-old star is no stranger to daredevil antics. The actress, who often does her own stunts, was trained in sword-fighting and sky-diving for her role in Tomb Raider 2.

Now that she has become a mother, however, Angelina prefers to play it safe. After completing work on the Tomb Raider sequel, she admitted to taking some unnecessary risks. "I did unhook a safety harness once when I was dancing on top of a bridge," she revealed. "But I have a son now and I definitely check my safeties and make sure they are on."

In her latest movie, which tells the story of a bored married couple who discover they are assassins hired to kill each other, she joins forces with Brad Pitt. Needless to say, the pair find that resolving their marital difficulties is far from easy.
